NEW! WHITE BOX, the small studio. 5.5m x 4.5m. NEW!
A white room with high ceiling (3.6m), power points, a toilet and sink adjoining. Seating, tables, whiteboard and an old LCD projector available on request. Great space for up to 16 people. Natural light, can be blacked-out easily.
BLACK BOX, the big studio. Main area approx 12m x 11m (clearspan), plus backstage.
Painted-concrete floor, plus big drive-up loading dock.
Height from floor to beams: 3.6m, height from floor to peaks of roof 5.2m. Insulated with R3.5 fibre batts.
Blackout space.
Facilities include Bar / kitchenette, toilet, makeup station, loading dock, heaters, fans, seating for up to 80.
5 separate 240v circuits, plus one 20 Amp, 5 pin 3 phase outlet.
Basic theatre and video lighting kit, and PA, both of which are expanding. Enquire for current status.
Both spaces have access to the bar / kitchenette if required.

Studio entry is via Merri St.
The studio is only metres from cafes, restaurants, shops, tram,
bus, and 5 min walk from Jewell Station on Upfield
train line. There is parking on site and street.

Rates for both studios vary according to duration and type of use. Please phone or email for current rates for your booking.
Alcohol:
If you intend to sell alcohol at a theatre or arts event you must aquire and display a valid Temporary Liqour License.
Temporary licenses can be applied for via the link below. Ensure you read all the requirements and provide all the necessary information or you may not receive it in time.

All persons serving alcohol must bring their Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate to be photocopied or provide a certified copy. RSA training costs $50 and takes about half a day. There are many training providers running courses several times per week. RSA certificates are valid for 3 years (employee), 1 year (licensee).
